About Us

The First Legislative District Republican Party of North Dakota, also commonly referred to as District 1 NDGOP, is a local district of the North Dakota Republican (NDGOP) party. As such, the organization subscribes to the NDGOP platform and party rules.

District 1 NDGOP is comprised of members and is governed by the district committee and its officers. Membership is available to eligible residents of North Dakota’s first legislative district.

The District Strives to Meet the Following Objectives:

To promote an informed electorate through political education and involvement
To foster loyalty to the Republican Parry and to promote its ideals and purposes
To endorse and promote for election Republican candidates for the state legislature
To work for and promote the election of the Republican Party’s nominees and candidates for public office
To provide representation of the Republican voters of District One before the North Dakota Republican Party, its committees and conventions, to the fullest extent possible
To raise funds for the district, district endorsed candidates, and the North Dakota Republican Party
To identify and encourage the voting electors at all special and general elections
